Mr Kumar produced simplistic diagrams as he explained what was happening instead of bombarding us with complex medical jargon which we would not understand. Mr Kumar was thoroughly professional at all times but friendly and compassionate too. He appeared genuinely relieved and pleased for us when he advised that the lump removed from my mother 's thyroid was benign. I cannot recommend him highly enough. He is a credit to the West Suffolk Hospital.

I can only comment on my personal situation, my doctor was most informative about my particular cancer and gave clear, precise details, along with pictures of the affected area and his intended course of action etc. The treatment was duly arranged and I have now been discharged, with radiotherapy to follow. I am grateful that my cancer was picked up following a routine mammogram and would thank all involved for the care I received. Most impressed.

Dr Kumar took time to listen to how I felt and contacted me with results of tests which has helped me to recover and not worry so much. I trusted his judgement completely and he talked me through everything .Speaking with him you know he cares and you don't feel like just another person on a list.
